When selecting refrigerants, we at Rivacold CI GmbH place a strong focus on natural refrigerants – above all propane (R290) and carbon dioxide (R744). However, as the market continues to demand these, refrigerants containing fluorine are also used.
We, RIVACOLD CI GmbH, are responsible for the distribution and consulting of all products of the Italian manufacturer RIVACOLD s.r.l. in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. RIVACOLD s.r.l. offers solutions for industrial and commercial refrigeration that combine technological innovation, energy efficiency and sustainability with high quality, reliability and flexibility. The company develops and produces condensing units with and without housing, hermetic systems, plug-in refrigeration units, split units, multi compressor packs, air coolers and evaporators. In addition to the stationary product range, Rivacold offers a series of units for transport refrigeration.

Rivacold CI GmbH distributes all products of the Italian manufacturer Rivacold in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. The Italian Vitri Alceste Group (VAG), headquartered in Vallefoglia, between Ancona and Ravenna, has been involved in the production and sale of refrigeration systems since it was founded in 1966. The Group employs more than 1,700 people and generated sales of EUR 341 million in 2022. VAG includes the companies Vitrifrigo – manufacturer of small refrigerators, minibars and beverage coolers, e.g. for shipping, trucks, camping or hotel rooms, which produces around 90,000 refrigerators and 20,000 small absorption refrigeration systems per year, RAV – a wholesale company with a distribution network of 19 sales outlets in Italy, which sells the products of the VAG Group and other well-known manufacturers, and Rivacold – manufacturer of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems and heat exchangers as well as units for transport refrigeration.
Rivacold produces refrigeration units for ceiling and wall mounting (ready to plug in), split units (with screw and solder connections), multi compressor packs (with hermetic, semi-hermetic and scroll compressors, as well as customized), condensing units (open and with soundproof weatherproof housing), evaporators, condensers, chillers and units for transport refrigeration in several plants in Vallefoglia.
Rivacold offers efficient, ecological and customer-specific solutions for all refrigeration and air conditioning requirements. Qualified personnel, large production areas and a very large storage capacity enable Rivacold to meet the requirements of refrigeration customers competently, effectively and flexibly.

Innovative
The VRL laboratory
All RIVACOLD products are tested in our own state-of-the-art test laboratory. The accredited technology center extends over 2000 m2 and is divided into six areas.Every environmental condition can be simulated there at operating temperatures from -45°C to +55°C. Customer-specific designs are also measured and tested in the development center with regard to their most important characteristics in accordance with the applicable industry-specific regulations: Energy efficiency, thermal performance, reliability and noise.
